This includes your arrival, dances, dinner, table details, name plates, seating charts, the room details, lights, the cake, cutting the cake, the knife used, the dinner sets used. Everything that you have thought of will be captured and remembered.
Photographing the reception
Family photos are generally done at the church. Afterwards we travel to a location of your choice and shoot the bridal portraits. These can be scenic, intimate, fun, relaxed, casual, formal, or however else you would like it.
Wedding Portrait Photos
While waiting for you to arrive we focus on the decorations at the entrance, guest books, wedding register signing, church or venue, arrival in cars or limousine, flower girls, bridesmaids, grooms men, best man, guest, mother and father of bride and groom, family members, celebrant, priest or minister. We capture your reactions to each others vows, The Kiss, signing the register, the smiles, the laughter, the love.
Photographing the ceremony
These are some of the details captured on your wedding day; bridge and groom getting ready, applying makeup, having hair styled by stylists, father of the bride looking proud, mother of bride wiping tears, lots of hugs and kisses, bridesmaids helping to get ready, relaxing at home, dress hanging up, silhouettes, makeup brushes, button flowers, bouquets, jewellery, hair clips, wedding rings, engagement rings, reading letters.
Capturing the details
I pose my couples into relaxed positions so that I can take advantage of the available light and create a sense of love, devotion, fun, intimacy, and really show others the power of your relationship. Posing is some seen as fake or uncomfortable. Many people have said to me I dont like being posed or I dont like posing in front of the camera. Ive also heard Im not very photogenic or I dont like having my picture taken. Posing helps with this by creating a situation where your personality comes through. The best shots in fact come from the reactions before and after the photo is taken. I always capture these shots too, as the laughter shoes the real you.
All couples love being posed
I love the way a bride and groom look on their wedding day. They are simply beautiful. Its my job to capture this in a relax fashion. After the suits and hair and makeup have been applied. Otherwise ordinary people become fashion icons. But the spark is the love that is shown between them as they start their new life together.
I love wedding photography. Its not just about capturing photos of the day, and documenting what happens. For me its about finding ways to define the day, and the people that are there. So much effort is put into planning your wedding day, and it is my job to make sure you will remember that forever.
