Born in England and raised on a small island. Came to New Zealand in 1990 and love it. Married to Bronwyn and have two amazing kids. They're the reason I get up each day. I dream big, and think that people should follow their hearts and not their head.

Meeting new people and being a small part of their life. Bringing them a little joy through great photographs just gives me the warm and fuzzies.

I'm a sucker for genuine people, and great design. When I see simple photos of people being themselves and not acting for the camera, I'm all gooey.

Inspiration is everywhere and I'm often taking photos of things around me with a camera phone, just to capture it right then.

I've always had a creative streak and since my Son arrived in 2005, that's expressed itself in photography.

No, although it's getting close! I have a day job that pays the bills, but photography is my passion.

No. I have a massive thirst for knowledge so I spend all my time researching then practising new techniques. I think that connecting with people and having a creative eye is more important than some of the technical aspects of photography.

I don't like spending all day in front of a computer, so I make sure that skin colour and exposure is where I want it. Finally a bit of sharpening before printing

I like my clients to be relaxed, then their personality shows through. I've seen too many photos of brides in locations and positions that may be beautiful, but don't reflect the person.
